An Ivor Searle remanufactured engine is built following the BS AU 257:2002 Code of Practice and should not be confused with reconditioned engines, an exchange engine, rebuilt engine, repaired engine or replacement engine which are not subjected to the same level of re-machining or major replacement of new OEM standard parts or restoration of all fits and clearances that Ivor Searle remanufactured engines are. Used Engines / Second hand Engines If the value of the vehicle does not justify a new engine or remanufactured engine, Ivor Searle can offer quality used engines which are tested and inspected in house and come with a 6 month unlimited mileage warranty. Engine Rebuilds / Machining Services In the event that we do not stock your engine, we can also offer to rebuild or repair your worn engine in our engine rebuild workshop. It will undergo the same processes that our production engines are subjected to and all work is covered with a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty. Not only that, we will also arrange collection and delivery. Due to our strong relationship with suppliers we have access to a huge range of car parts meaning we can rebuild classic car engines as well as newer models. We also provide machining services on separate component parts ranging from crank grinding to refitting valves which can ultimately reduce your engine rebuild cost. Cylinder Heads Our remanufactured cylinder heads are built on the same production line as our remanufactured engines which means you get the same uncompromising quality along with our 12 month unlimited mileage warranty that you may not get when buying a reconditioned, exchange, rebuilt or repaired cylinder head elsewhere. We also sell brand new AMC cylinder heads that come with a 36 month unlimited mileage warranty. Our cylinder heads are supplied either as bare castings, with valves and springs or complete with camshafts. Turbochargers We supply remanufactured turbos (turbochargers) for popular makes including Garrett, KKK, Borg Warner, Mitsubishi, Toyota, IHI, Holset and Schwitzer. Unlike some reconditioned turbos, all of our turbochargers meet or exceed the original manufacturer's specifications, are fully tested and come with a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty. In the event that we do not have your turbo in stock we can arrange to rebuild your own. Transmissions / Gearboxes / Differentials / Rear Axles / Transfer Boxes We also supply remanufactured transmissions which are built to the highest standards and again, come with a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty.
