Charge Automotive Ltd completed the purchase of the business and assets of Charge Cars Ltd (in administration) on the 16th of November 2024.

The Brand will continue to trade as Charge Cars usingits global trademarks, continuing the excellent work completed by over 70 engineers since 2016.

Charge Cars is a London-based automotive company founded in 2016 that builds high-end, fully electric reinterpretations of the classic 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback.

Restructuring: After entering administration in mid-2024 (partly due to disruptions from tech partner Arrival), a consortium led by Charge Holdings acquired the brand, IP, and assets in late 2024 to restart development and production.

Key Specifications
- Battery & Range: 63 kWh floor-mounted battery pack with 50 kW DC charging capability, offering roughly 200 miles (320 km) of range.

- Performance: Quad-motor all-wheel-drive layout delivering 400 kW (536 horsepower) and 1,520 Nm of torque, achieving 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds.

- Price: Originally targeted around $450,000 USD, with custom specifications built to order.
